Past Layouts!
Here are all of the past layouts of the domain....some haven't ever been seen before o_o
Layout One: Midnight Angel
View Main Layout
View Chromeless Pop-Up
I really liked this layout...it was my very first layout in HTML ^_^ *Sigh* Ahh, good memories. I
was so proud of it. Unfortunately, parts of it were lost when my computer crashed but what is
viewable now is what I had saved. Anyway...the big stars on the top were the navigation (thanks
to my first experience with divs) and there were chromeless pop-ups. ^_^ I loved this one.
Layout Two: Iced Over
View Main Layout
View Chromeless Pop-Up
This one was terrific! I loved this one LOTS. ^_^ It didn't take too long to make and I was
really happy with how it turned out. Good things come out of fooling around aimlessly with photoshop!
Layout Three: Rainbow (Multiple Layouts)
View Main Page
View 'Me' Page
View 'Domain' Page
View 'Net' Page
View 'Update' Page
Ehh, I wasn't crazy about all of the layouts. I also excluded the 'you' page because I hated it...it
was ugly as sin. I don't know what possessed me to make separate layouts for each section...but
it took forever @_@ The one layout I *did* like in this version was the main page because of the
inline frame thing...that special scrollbar took forever *twitch* Plus, the colors were nice ^_^
Layout Four: Dreams
View Main Layout
View 'Domain' Pop-Up
This layout was very pastel ^_^; I liked it a lot but it wasn't my favorite. The most difficult
thing about it was that there was a graphic overlying a frame, so I had to mess around with transparency
and it got messy @_@ Not to mention that the layout had over forty layers on photoshop used no
brushes, whatsoever ^_^
Layout Five: King of Day and Queen of Night
View Layout
I liked this layout a lot ^_^ It was done very late at night...all my best work is >_0 I had
always wanted to make a sun and moon layout and this was the result. Not too shabby. My first layout
in which I made every single thing you see on the page. No graphics borrowed or used. Completely me ^_^
Layout Six: Beautiful Man : Mana
View Layout
Wow...where to start? @_@ Yes, that's a man on the layout...a very beautiful man, hence the title.
Mana (the guy on the layout) is from the J-Rock band 'Malice Mizer', and is the most beautiful
member of the group ^_^ And yes, I can see all of you thinking I'm off my rocker ^_^;; But I really
like Mana 'cause he's so pretty and deserves to grace a layout of midnight-star.net, don't you agree?
Layout Seven: Knight of Water - Umi
View Layout
I really liked this layout ^-^ It used an Anime character from Clamp's Magic Knight Rayearth. I mainly liked it because it was blue and watery. It was with this layout that LOTS AND LOTS of content was finally put up. This was also the layout that went up after switching servers...my domain became a year old *tear*
Layout Eight: A Drop of Color
View Layout
I loved this layout! It was my first time working with an image map *twitch* and the second time I used transparent tags to make the images somewhat see-through. This was very pastel and was inspired by the song "A Drop of Colour" by the J-pop artist Hyde. The photoshop menu was the navigation (hence the image map) and the arrow was to clear all text. The coding for this one was kinda complicated. @_@ But I loved it.
Layout Nine: Enigma
View Layout
Okay. Hands down, my FAVORITE layout I've ever made. It was painful taking it down. I LOVED this layout so much ^^; It was inspired by Salvador Dali (<3), Kozi from Malice Mizer,
and featured excerpts from "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe. The title "Enigma" referred to the human mind o_o; All of the people that inspired this layout are either
insane or very eccentric. So this layout was all about the insane warped mind :D The navigation was the little circles.
Layout Ten: Heaven
View Layout
Wow, this layout was up forEVER, it seemed. It wasn't because I was in love with it (though I really did like it...), it was
mostly because I suddenly had no time to make layouts for my site. A shame :( Hm, this layout featured some gorgeous Amano
artwork of Yuna from Final Fantasy X. It also featured the poem "Xanadu" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It was named Heaven because, well,
the pastel colors were very....heaven-like? The navigation was the boxes. Nothing too complex, but yes...I did like this layout
quite a bit.
